These mounts are made in the U.S.A. from high quality 4130 chromoly steel and will handle everything your car can throw at them. Utilizing grade 8 medium carbon alloy steel 1/2 inch fasteners these mounts will hold your engine in place for a lifetime. The grade 8 fasteners used with these mounts are approximatly 20 percent stronger than the fasteners used on stock Toyota mounts. UGP Racing mounts simply will not break. They are being used on several successful race cars, they are excellent for street use as well. If you are planning on having more than 400 horsepower the stock rubber motor mounts are not recommended. These solid mounts will prevent the turbocharger from hitting the shock tower while in boost which can often result in a cracked manifold and a beat up turbo. The stock mounts have a tendency to rip and break under higher loads. These mounts have been load tested and when installed correctly they are guaranteed to safely hold the maximum horsepower your car can possibly produce. With solid mounts there is no flex resulting in less power loss through the drivetrain. Most manufacturers design their mounts by measuring a stock rubber mount when it is out of the car. UGP Racing designed their motor mounts by taking into consideration the fact that the stock mount compresses with the weight of the motor making the mount shorter. UGP Racing mounts set the motor lower in the engine bay without any clearance issues. This gives the car a lower center of gravity which in return improves handling and has been track tested and proven to significantly reduce lap times.
